Reference T-77 About "Airspeed Oxford Over 42nd Air School" Pencil illustration of Airspeed Oxford G-AITF flying over the 42nd Air School in Port Elizabeth, South Africa during WW2 1944. Although this actual aircraft was not based here, it is being restored in the South African Air Force Museum in Port Elizabeth, which is located on the 42AS site. It was felt appropriate that this Airspeed Oxford be illustrated as such to depict the many Oxfords that were here in WW2. |
