Reference bark,landscape,breast,yellow,orange About "Bark Torso" This is a photograph taken of a Xhosa woman preparing to get dressed for a performance. I travelled with the lady to Namibia so they could do a collaboration performance with the San people. There are traces of the San ( nomadic tribe) living once with the Xhosa's and leaving behind treasures. In this case the instruments are the trace, so the idea was to re-introduce the two tribes again and share the skills with the instruments and performances. |
