About "Buffalo pencil study"

After a trip up north in the Kruger National Park, we saw so many buffalo that they were more common than impala, this was the inspiration behind this drawing.

About Tami

I come from an artistic family so my interest in art was always encouraged. I attended the National School for the Arts and later studied Graphic Design at the University of Johannesburg. I’ve worked in the advertising industry for 10 years both permanently and on a freelance basis.

My passion for colour is fuelled by the individuality that one gets from art that can only be produced by the human hand and the way the medium interacts with the canvas.

My work is about exploring the interactions between various colours and textures. I combine my love for African wildlife, with my love for creating art.
