About Garth

November 1999 I suffered a major stroke which affected my whole right side, being right handed this set me back. It has taken me two years to recover enough to be able to paint again. It will possibly take me another two years to recover fully. Prior to this I painted on a part time basis and work was sold locally and in America. I have now started painting full time and mainly the animals of Africa with my target market being America. I am also currently writing a book about having a stroke and my remarkable recovery to being able to paint again.
