Started educating disadvantaged as well as advantaged about 20 years ago, she started an art school named Art for All. She studied art for 2 years at Stellenbosch, and 2 years at Unisa. She has developed a new technique or medium and now paints, extremely expressively and uses a combination of ceramics, metals, pigments and acrylics as well as collage. This new medium is called "plak & pleister technique and being invited by artists worldwide to introduce this new medium to them.
