About "Deceiving Beauty"
This sculpture was created in my last year at the university of pretoria. This is a modernist artwork. I focused on creating a feminine piece of artwork. "Deceiving beauty" is about external beauty. If you take a closer look from the top view, you will see spikes on the inside. Unfortunately you can't see it on this photograph. This artwork is mounted on a cement pillar and it can't be seperated, because the two pieces are integrated.
I adapt to the "zeitgeist" or spirit of our time. I am striving for simplicity as Les Corbusier said "Less is more". I draw, print, paint and sculpt and I am also working as a Head Scenic Artist. Some of the artworks is in the african genre.
