About "Elephant 103"

In this piece I wanted to capture the harmony between both the gentleness and ferocity of these majestic animals. I used the movement of the air and dust stirred up from the earth to contrast with the larger-than-life textural footprints and suggestive folds of the elephant tail and skin to create
a pleasing tension.
