Reference Kalk Bay Gull Apex About "Gull at the Centre of the World" I was moved by the moody sky and sea, and the way the gull perched at the corner of the quay - forming an apex in two-demensional terms - gave the image a formal symmetry that completed the picture for me. The triangular frame of the key made me think of a great ship bearing the viewer towards infininty. |
