About "Hawker Hurricane on the Deck"

During a rainy afternoon in East Africa I was browsing through photos and articles of the North African campaign during the Second World War. The sheer determination and bravery from both the Allies and the Axis during this terrible time in history caught my attention especially the airmen. As a pilot myself by profession I placed myself in their shoes and tried to imagine what it must have felt like. My hand started moving in the direction of my pencils and the rest just followed with this Hawker Hurricane being the end product.
