About Lynette
Lynette du Plessis is a South African born artist, residing in the East Rand, Johannesburg area, situated in South Africa's scenic city that never sleeps.
Having discovered her talent at an early age, she has always created out of the ordinary art works, she now completely immerses herself in her art and is intensely passionate about it. Her inner creative force is what drives her to bring her art pieces to live, over the past 12 years Lynette has experimented with numerous mediums and materials to get the perfect medium that allows her to sculpture on canvas to the effect of 5D, something that is waterproof, crack free when drying as well as light in weight.
About Lynette du Plessis
Lynette was born in Gauteng, South Africa in 1988 at a very early age she moved with her family to the Eastern Cape. At the age of 4 she already showed an out of the ordinary talent, creating masterpieces.
At the age of 9 Lynette was selected to participate in numerous art competitions hitting highest rating for her art that was presented one after the other, at the early age of 10 Lynette was selected to take part in a world wide competition where by only three candidates was selected in South Africa to create a peace that resembles peace on earth world wide.
By then Lynette developed a strong love for drawing, painting and sculpting and continued her art without education. Over the years Lynette grew up in a small town with a lack of funds, however this has never stopped her passion and commitment for creating out of the world art peace's. With the support of her family and friends she futured her work in Art Galleries in the Eastern Cape, selling her work locally at an early age of 14 and using her funds for her next peace.
Yet till today Lynette du Plessis is more focused than ever to pursue her dream of becoming a full time artist.
