Reference 6776 About "Currer Bell" I was experimenting with the effects of simple printing techniques as a textural base for pastels and found some interesting possibilities for this work. I started the portrait without any fixed idea in mind but after a while the idea of exploring the imaginary image of Charlotte Bronte began to take shape. Don't ask me why. The title is for literary detectives to work out. |
