About "The Mechanics of War"

This piece was commissioned by the War Museum as part of their permanent collection. The artist has brought to the fore the elements of war ; aggressors and their machines where hapless and innocent civilians are the victims. It illustrates the proverbial road to hell for humanity and folly of those that inititiate the war machine.

High quality print (Silvertone Int.) on paper. Once off, limited single series of 50 prints only. Prints are individually titled and signed & dated by the artist. In addition, for purposes of authentication, each print has a unique stamped serial number that is archived.

About Casey

Born in March 1970, the artistic career of Casey started at a young age under the shadow of his great grandfather Tinus de Jongh, and it was only natural that he would be influenced by his Dutch heritage.
Being fully self-taught, his artistic inspiration is drawn from the rugged beauty that South Africa offers and from personal life experiences. He continues to pursue his own experimental and expressive interests in various media and subject matter beyond his main focus areas too.
