About Lesego

My work is inspired by old memories of my 1970s village, the village that I am trying to reconstruct in my mind comes in bits and pieces and when transferred to canvas as they are, they form colorful, vibrant and powerful representation of dancers I used to watch in the evening, the display of crafts and home murals, and as my canvas is a space in which to act, what is on the canvas is not a picturebut an event.
