About Helena

Helena Zeeman

I strive to create meaningful art that reflect my background and speak on the various virtues and challenges of the human condition, to enrich the viewers experience of life. I believe that there should be no end to an artists education or experimentation as long as the work reflect contemplation and is ultimately professionally finished and presented.“ We strive to be masters of our craft…”

Exhibitions

In 2008 I exhibited in the Crow Gallery in Templebar in Dublin with Slua Nua. The Exhibition was named Woman’s Identity and we were then invited to Exhibit in the Abeylix Library by the Louse arts officer. Woman’s Identity was a social comment in the role woman play in today’s society and asked the question, “Have woman experienced a world wide renaissance?”

I also exhibited with the Athy arts group in the same year.

I am currently exhibiting with Slua Nua in the Moat theater in Naas. The exhibition is themed Awakening, every member of the group taking their own inspiration, loosely based on this.

Education

[1999-2001] [University of South Africa] [Pretoria, South Afric
