About Johan

I am a self taught artist from South Africa.Painting is my passion and part of my daily routine.I have experimented with various mediums and objects,which lead to particular preference for oil based landscape scenes and are from time to time depict in monochrome.These scenery's are inspired by nature and clouds,fascinate me.
I am greatly influenced by artists like Paul Cezanne,Len Hend,Tim Gagnon,Terry Harrison and locally by Andre Grobler.
