About Bousie

Bousie is an internationally acclaimed Master-artist whose work is recognized globally as serious Investment Art. The value of an original Bousie is currently rising fast within the fine art market and is expected to seriously escalate in the next few years, achieving a rare trajectory reached by only a few artists in history while still alive. Initially focused primarily on realistic wildlife and stylish nude studies with a strong emphasis on feminine beauty, his rare ability sanctions him carte blanche in terms of style and subject. He earned commissions from various international celebrities, leading him to be widely referred to as the Celebrity Artist. Locally, his paintings of Nelson Mandela as well as our own Miss World Rolene Strauss attracted a lot of attention. This shift has driven him to expand his practice into oversized, heavily textured abstracts and hefty, colourful palette knife oil paintings--dynamic contemporary works that are fast becoming heavily sought-after status symbols. Because secondary pieces are very seldom available, an original one-of-a-kind Bousie Oil Painting is a premier acquisition for international collectors. Beyond the easel, Bousie is a seasoned Art Curator and International Fine Art Appraiser who works closely with CANSA, ensuring a portion of his proceeds goes toward Cancer research and related charities.
