A lot of emotion goes into my tall ship paintings. I am with my father who was a man of the sea. The battle of the tall ship with the sea can be seen as man's battle with life. I am a very proud grandmother who understands the concept of grandparenthood. They remind me of my own children. My eldest daugther is married to a farmer and this inspires me to do the farm related works. And now, to exercise my bragging rights -: I was commissioned by a private person to do a certain painting and was subsequently astounded to have received a letter of appreciation from ex-President Nelson Mandela, a letter which I cherish very much. 2013 invatation to submit 3 paintings to the UK for a competition ,1 was selected and put on the web.I was invited to the final exhibition at Nottinghamshire UK.
