About "African Wild Dogs"

A visit to the Kruger National Park is never the same without seeing the African Wild Dog. We were fortunate the last time to come across a pack of 19, and I just had to record on canvas a few of these beautiful uniquely colored illusive and endangered animals. One reason why they are endangered is because their competing predators are larger and stronger.

About Patricia

Pat Donald born in Cape Town, South Africa comes from a family of artist's. A versatile artist who works in different media, oils being her favourite. Her passion is portraits,(faces, families and even your loving pets,) some of which have been commissioned internationally. She has also had solo exhibitions and her works have been shown in galleries across the country.
Pat is very passionate about painting and the phrase is frequently heard in her home, 'I just love to paint'.

She started an art school 34years ago at their home in Constantia teaching adults and children.Many of the children went on to win art competitions at school and elsewhere.
As a teacher she has the gift of taking someone who believes that they have absolutely no talent at all to a place where within a few weeks they are producing beautiful work.
She did a series of 'Women Of Africa' to create awareness of the lack of pride,dignity and hope that so many African woman suffer from. Some were sold to the United States.
