About Corne

Corne Theron is a contemporary figurative artist. She explores the interplay between our psyche and our circumstances. Her work is influenced by her involvement in Future of Hope, a project she founded for foster children and parents in the Breedekloof. Her first-hand experience as foster and now adoptive mom, also influences her approach. She uses different types of glass as filters to create her abstract figures.
