Johann Nortje is a fine arts student at Tshwane University of technology. he works in line, because as he says, he like to boil things down to their core. he also mentions that its not the actual people that he wants to portray, but the emotional space they occupy, that elusive hint, that makes them, well, them. The rest, to him, is clutter.
