About Petro

Petro Vermaak-Lotriet is a born and bred Capetonian. She spent her childhood in Bellville where she later matriculated. She started sketching at early ages. After marrying and raising two boys and a girl, she started painting professionally. She took art lessons privately.

All her paintings are unique both in style and nature. She specializes in oil paintings on canvas, mainly landscapes, seascapes and still life. Her work is mainly of Cape Cultural Heritage nature and thereby taking more than memories form this wonderful part of the world back home.

Petros work is in private collections in. United Kingdom, Portugal, Netherlands, Sweden, Germany, Canada, Australia, America, Namibia and Zimbabwe.
