I find solace in walking my dog on the beach, no matter the weather. This painting is a memory of a very turbulent, but reflective time in my life.

About Samantha

I am a poet, writer, painter, filmmaker and not all in that order. A lover of light and stormy skies. My subject matter is immersed in nostalgia, painting from memories and photographs I take. I escape to my imagined world by looking through a lens, picking up my pen, or brushes. My paintings feel like simple and whimsical childhood memories. I see beauty in that simplicity, the endless roads to nowhere, and that is what I seek to expose. Ultimately, when looking at my art, you must yearn to go there.

I paint part-time in between scripting and directing for the film and Tv industry.
