Depicting the wellknown Starlings is such a challenge due to their glossy appearance and stunning colour - it was for this reason that I undertook this special and iconic Kruger Park inhabitant.

Nature and life inspire me - the light of life in eyes, the delicate nature around us, the colours of birds. There is a perfection in the imperfection of nature and I enjoy getting caught up in the minute detail. The challenge to me is to capture eyes that speak and the fine delicate details of living, breathing life.
