Reference Copy of Madeleine After Prayer About "Copy of Madeleine After Prayer" I saw this painting of Daniel Maclise and fell totally in love! I love pre-raphaelite paintings! I wanted to do it! The client wanted a copy of one of the pre-raphaelites and this painting was perfect. I worked about 2 months on it, must say not all the time! It was a lot of work but it was wonderful to get in his head and get the feeling of the colors he used. The pianting is "Madeleine After Prayer" by Daniel Maclise in the 19th Hundreds! Sometimes I do copies on commissions but my work come firts. Must say this was a journey! |
