About "Dam Cloudy Trees" The warmth and cheerfulness of his landscapes , coastal and street scenes are true to Louis vibrant personality and nature is evident in his liberal use of colors. He loves painting at home in his studio where Louis prefers to use images more as reference points. Louis has the ability to give his impression of an area or scene without even referencing a picture. Very few artists can approach a blank canvas with such creative style. This impressionistic technique allows him to paint from the eyes of his soul and maybe this is why there is such emotion in his work. Louis mostly works with professional oils on stretched canvas but when his art needs to be sent all over the world, it is rolled and shipped in a postal tube. |
