About "Dusk at the Waterhole"

As the sun sets and the heat receeds, the elephant cows bring their young down to the waterholes to drink. This is play and relaxation time. Having slaked their thirst, the cows rumble contentedly and spray mud and water over their huge bodies, while the calves indulge in their favourite" I'm stonger than you are " pushing games or wallow in the cool mud.

About Diana

As a very young child my nanny made me clay oxen with thorn tree horns. That started me modeling with plasticine and later drawing and painting.
South Africa is an artists paradise with its diversity of scenery, animals and people. I am passionate about nature and want to inspire others to love it through my work. It is only through love of our heritage that we will manage to conserve the wonder that is Africa for future generations.
