About Michael

Matriculated in 1996 and persuade to further his education and in 1999 graduated with a Associates Degree in Conservation, and part-time diploma in wildlife rehabilitation. After studying, his creativity and inspiration as an artist reclaimed a part in his life and he started an apprenticeship, in an art foundry locally. In 2000 he was offered the opportunity to buy the foundry which birthed into The Loop Bronze Atelier. As a result he is now fully qualified in all aspects of bronze casting and mould making. The artist is also vastly experienced in bronze patination, and offers these services to numerous artists.

[0x1]My ideas represent the emotions of life, the cycles and thoughts we go through everyday. Things we see, things we experience and everything we think about. I try to see these images from the perspective of the emotion and what it must be like to sit on that side of the fence. After all, these emotions where given to us to experience and to teach us, and to take us to deeper levels of understanding.

To me it is very rewarding to see how another person perceives these images, and to see their own creativity come to life, as they try to understand the image, and what feelings it brings up for them. Sometimes it is also nice to create something without any deep thought or planning. And to listen how people dissect it, and come up with their own ideas.[0x1] Michael Ca[0xC3B1]adas
