About "Elephant Challenge"

This Elephant was walking parallel to the road in the Kruger National Park and a storm was looming in the distant and every now and then thunder sounded giving us both a fright.
After one loud crack of lightning and a loud bang of thunder he turned towards me with that "don't you come any closer" look!
Needles to say I kept my distance and just marvelled at the scene before my eyes.
To draw using Indian Ink is very special for me, as it is a unique way of producing pleasing visual art.
It requires a lot of patience and concentration to master this technique.

About Vanessa

I have had a passion for art from a very young age taking art as a subject at school and attending classes at Saxonworld, Johannesburg and later obtaining a diploma (3 years) at Paris School of Art.

My passion for Wildlife was enhanced when I worked in the Kruger National Park for a number of years.

I have travelled extensively throughout Southern Africa and love the outdoors!

My first exhibition was held at Zoo Lake in Johannesburg, where there was a sell out of all my works.

I have more recently exhibited solo at the Knysna Nederburg Art Experience, the prestigious [0x1]Knysna Log Inn[0x1], Wildebees Lapa in Kampersrus, and at Uplands College Festival in White River where I achieved immense success.

I have lived in the Province of Limpopo for 17 years and in Hoedspruit for the last 9 years
