About "End of the Innocence"

The body of works deal with the idea of consciousnesses behind the portrayal of the subject.
The concept behind the painting is born out of the ideas of dualism and materialism and influenced by the ideas and research of Michael Egnor (Neurosurgeon) and Rupert Sheldrake (biologist) particularly were they pertain to consciousnesses. I have also made use of cultural artifacts like masks,combs and other adornments as well as and the idea of the land/space as an experience of the mind rather than only a physical entity based in reality.
