Reference Growth About "Growth" This is a resemblance of love growing in the hands of God. Love won’t survive without the hand of God supporting it. This was a Grade 12 project and my first time working with Acrylic. I enjoyed it, but the paint drying so quick made it a bit difficult leaving the project to the next day to continue on it. I made it as colourful as possible. The light in the background represents God’s blessing, the hands, being God’s hands represents that he is supporting this relationship for success. |

I went to school at Hertzog High in Witbank, where I had art as an extra subject. I had no training as I had to do my pieces on my own, I was given a topic and had to do it. I tried my best to impress my teacher as there was a lot of talent in our group. I do not believe in going for classes or training in art, as I believe that the trainer’s technique will reflect in yours and then it’s not your own work anymore. My work is purely my own, my own techniques and my own experience which has increased the quality of my work.
