About Rehana

After dabbling in many creative ventures like sewing, embroidery, decoupage and fabric painting to name a few, painting as an art, has now become my established interest.
Everything about nature, its colour, form, texture and shape inspires and stirs up emotions within me, which are difficult to describe.
Painting has a therapeutic and very calming effect and gives me intense pleasure and joy.
Each painting is an emotional journey. It rides the waves and soothes the soul.
Every subject matter is chosen by the heart. I embrace it and it works its way on to the canvas. My heart controls the journey from beginning to end with the soul deriving the benefits in some strange and unexplainable way.
