About "The Great Man's Gaze"

.. a painting based on a dream ... couldn't get through the town because all the people were going in the opposite direction, so I headed for the country. Then a numinous figure appeared over the horizon - the Great Man - to simply observe what was going on. Jungian psychology and Old Testament prophets might refer to the Great Man in this dream as God.
