About "Little Red Boat"

After his retirement, my dad moved to Velddrift, on the Berg River. His little red boat was legendary amongst the family, and the children loved to be taken for a ride on the river, to go fishing, or for a trip to the Riviera Hotel. For the adults, he would pour a glass of wine the moment we set off, or for the younger ones, guide them at steering the boat.

About Susan Traut

I love anything related to nature; something that is quiet, harmonious and beautiful. Sometimes I need to break out of the mould, though, and I create a piece that is thought-provoking. I prefer not to explain the thought, as I feel that each person should make up his own mind. If it makes people think, that is good enough for me.
