About Mzikaise

I started art at a very early age. Presently I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts from the University of North West.
At the moment my art is inspired by religion because I believe religion keep us grounded.
I received Second prize in the Sol Plaatjie Art Exhibition in 1988 hosted by the University of North West.
In 2001 I was commissioned by the late Fr L Moiloa of the Roman Cathoilc Church to paint an African Version of the journey of Jesus Christ carrying his cross to Golgotha. In 2002 I participated in the Sasol Young Signature competition in Pretoria. In 2003 I participated in the Mmabana Calabash Exhibition.
