About "Lunch @ Hluhluwe" Years ago we had an encounter with a tame giraffe called Sweetie Pie and I fell in love with giraffes then. Most beautiful eyes and so graceful. She would take leaves from the tourists with assurance from the guide. Had to paint her peering over the treetops. |

I love animals and nature and although I have had no formal training, I spent many years with one of Durban's best teachers Gail Baxter and belong to the North Coast Art Group. I paint because I want to convey to the viewer the miracle of nature. Art is my passion. I have become known as the "Meercat Artist" in our area as I love their feisty characters.
