This is my bit of commentary on the wine industry - on owners of wine estates' tendency to claim that they made the wines that one the trophies, and the true wine maker goes unrecognized.

I chose figurative rather than conceptual art as language to convey my personal interaction and interpretation of the world around, and inside myself.

My fascination with the human form reflects a perspective that the human body radiates divine light. I see human life not only as uniquely adapted to survive, but also as a vessel carrying the responsibility to heal, to love, to embrace.

My favourite quote is by a musician participating in the Play for change initiative: "Where there is great art, there is always heaven."
