About "Promised Land"

My love for nature inspired me to produce a range of landscape paintings. To try and capture the wild, dramatic skies, rough earth of the various locations I have travelled in Africa. I hope it evokes a memory or sense of freedom in my viewer

Small town girl with a passion for the creative,
Art as school subject - beginning of narrative;
Adolescence hits - artist future gloom,
Studied, matured, worked in corporate boom;
Awakening strikes! Contemporary art is part of me,
Became full time artist -start climbing the tree;
Inspired by experiences, travels and more,
My art speaks of my dreams, need to expore;
Multi-media, oil & acrylic - my mediums of choice,
My audience not yet found - still to find my voice;
Humbled by opportunity to share my work of art,
A challenging journey, but one that speaks to the heart
