About "Raw Lemonade"

With this painting I wanted to capture the high contrast still life with dramatic lighting and color coronas. I also wanted to avoid the temptation to overdo the yellows while keeping them brilliant.

About Christopher

I am inspired by the natural beauty all around me and by dramatic lighting. I couldn't choose just one flavor of beauty, so I paint everything from portraits to landscapes and everything in between. I do a lot of plein air painting and that improves my studio work too, allowing me to improve upon photos. I love taking a subject that people often overlook and pointing out how beautiful it can be.
