Colour, rhythm, form, the landscape which surrounds us,the glow in the early morning,the heat in mid January,the wind as it whips over the mountain, these are but some of the moments which inspire my work. Painting 'en plein air' or in the studio, I take my reference from nature. Passionate about painting, I graduated from UNISA with a BAFA and continued at Wits to do a postgraduate diploma in painting which I passed with a distinction. Since then I participate in many group exhibitions, as well as having solo exhibitions. I also do 2 big shows a year at the Cape Town Convention Centre, the Decorex as well as the Homemakers. I have won several awards and October 2018 I featured in am article about my work called:' Breaking all the Rules'. My work has found homes all over the world and it is so wonderful to be able to share my vision as an artist.
