About "Red Pepper"

I must admit still lives of fruit,veg and flowers where never my cup of tea. Not because I lack the ability to paint them, but purely because they have never been a subject that has inspired me. They did not have enough character or any story to tell. Well with this one I decided to peint it purely because of the wonderfully vibrant colours. They shout out: Happiness is a juicy red pepper! I can almost taste it...
