About Kevin

Born and raised in south Africa, by an incredibly talented artistic mom, I guess being creative was always the norm growing up. Having to earn a living propelled me into IT development so for many years flow charts was where my creativity flowed, maybe I should mention designing every home we built was a real thrill.
When I hit the half a century birthday I was treated to a three day art course (acrylics and oils). On our road trip back home, after the workshop I sensed a significant shift... something had changed in me, all of a sudden colours and beauty were jumping out at me. I was noticing things in nature that had never caught my eye before. It was and is still an amazing sensation. It was as if I had been given a new pair of eyes, "kaleidoscope vision".
South Africa is one of the most beautiful countries on this planet. Living in a small village on the Eastern Cape coast, with regular forays into the Garden Route of the Western Cape, I am so blessed to be surrounded by Natures beauty on a daily basis. This feeds the inspiration and passion which translates into my art.
May my paintings inspire within you an appreciation for our Earth and all her wondrous bounty.
