This work is unframed Price US$ 689 SOLD Reference EAS0016 About "Seven Sisters - Vaalwater" I painted this largely en situ and finished it off in my studio from photographs taken for reference of light and colour tone. This is the escarpment of the Waterberg Range of Mountains in the Limpopo Province. The autumn shades were starting to turn and the day was perfect. The light was morning sunrise and the air was pure and clear. I tried to capture the beauty, the colourful trees and the wonderful light bathing all around in a warm hue. |
