About Tamara

My family and friends call me Tammy or Tams. I am married and have a 3 beautiful children.I paint under my Maiden Name, Albertyn; My married name being Jacobs.
My passion and motivation is my interest in contemporary art. The medium I use is oil - I enjoy the freedom it gives me to paint thick texture onto canvas.
My inspiration comes from all around me: landscapes, people, flowers... My art is vivid and reflects a rainbow of interesting subjects. Through art I welcome you to South Africa and hope you enjoy seeing this beautiful land through my eyes and my paintings.
