About Lesley

Born in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, Lesley is a self taught artist. Her favourite medium is watercolour because of it's translucent beauty. She also works in oil, acrylic, mixed media and other media. Lesley has exhibited her work locally and some of her artwork has found homes abroad in New Zealand, Australia and England.
Her portraits of people and pets are extremely popular. Her favourite subjects are the beautiful African wildlife which she has been privileged to see and paint in their natural habitats and animals in general.
Lesley also paints some fantasy art as a way to relax and escape from the stresses of daily life.
