About "Sunset over Seven Sisiters Vaalwater RESERVED"

This Triptych was painted en situ and finished of in my studio. There was a beautiful sunset to the West and the reflected soft pink glow on the rocks of the mountains and the clouds was gentle and calming. I took a few reference photos, but hardly used them as the colours were so imprinted in my mind. The Seven Sister's form part of the Limpopo Province's Waterberg Mountain range and are on the very edge of the Waterberg escarpment.
