My work conveys the feeling of a subject or scene in bold, yet balanced colours, rather than trying to recreate a scene or subject on canvas. Inspired by nature and a lust for life, whether it be a rolling thunderstorm approaching over the ocean, a spectacular sunset, a feeling of love, a feeling of passion, a feeling of turmoil or a field of daisies, my brushstrokes capture the essence of the subject in colour and texture.
