About "The Mannequin" During the time I painted "The Mannequin", I went to the British museum in London. The decorative pottery and sculptures in the museum inspired me. The mannequin is simbolic of woman in general. The simplicity of the mannequin makes it universal. The arrow is there to show that this woman is a target. At the time I painted this painting I felt under pressure. "Race of Endurance" is about standing strong against the difficulties of one's journey. |
