About Paul

Born in Cape Town, South Africa
1959 -
Paul Munro was guided by his father, Gordon Munro, an amateur artist.
He served in the Police force from 1977 - 1981. Studied Commercial Art, International Diploma, and spent two years at Tygerberg Art College. Started painting full time in 1983. Loaded with a backpack and paints, a german Shepherd as a companion, Paul spent two years walking around South Africa, capturing the rhythmic forms of nature.
