I painted this tranquil painting about 6 weeks after my shoulder operation on my right shoulder. I actually painted it with my left arm! Only two paintings have been painted with my left arm after my shoulder operation October 2018, making it very exclusive.

I liked drawing things from an early age - I remember trying to capture the beauty of the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, my country of birth when I was a mere four years old! I guess I can say I enjoy to create, whether it is an oil painting or an etching, it does not really matter what I am creating, as long as I enjoy what I am doing.
I think it is the whole process of being immersed in my work while creating it, my eyes see something, my heart gets a feeling for the subject and then, the final stage, my hands make the artwork. Life inspires me - people around me, wildlife in their wild surroundings, the beauty of God's creations - I try to capture this all in my art.
