About "Travel Giants"

The earth's air,land and sea is not owned by humans. We borrow from it to survive, but sometimes forget this in our indulgences. This painting is a humourous comment on this, centred around Cape Town and it's Table Mountain. (The'table'from which we eat!)

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

1975 - 1979 LONDON THEATRE EXPERIENCE
1993 Renovated a house in Knysna, operational as a Bed and Breakfast business. Exhibited paintings of local and other contemporary South African Artists, had discussions, held workshops, film evenings and taught art.

1993-2012 Exhibitions in SA and in Europe.

TRAVEL

Europe, Malawi, Turkey, Mauritius and Southern Africa, Thailand, Bali, Australia.
1994 SOLO EXHIBITION at the LOGOS GALLERY, WC2 London.

AWARDS

1989 "MARTIENSSEN PRIZE" at the University of the Witwatersrand.
1994 Painting entitled "NOW AND BEYOND" accepted in top 10% by the ROYAL ACADEMY (Piccadilly, London), from over 13,000 entries, for final choice of paintings hung for the Summer Exhibition.
